I have been arguing the case against Clinton pretty strongly, I think, but the differences between the two cases are too extreme. I actually said that I thought the circumstances of the sex (with an intern in the work place, during the Paula Jones discovery, with extreme recklessness, etc.) were, in my mind, misdemeanors under the Constitution, and therefore impeachable. If you add in the perjury and obstruction, the case is overwhelming. But Monica was not a victim of rape, nor a little girl, nor was she killed, and so there are too many other factors to make the analogy apt. Therefore it is merely inflammatory, and you should withdraw it.
