Allan,

>>>
The usual suspects, AOL,ATHM,CMGI,DCLK,EXDS, plus a handful of wannabes. They have performed beyond my wildest expectations, which probably accounts for my willingness to be an Internet Bull, against the grain of this most excellent thread.

Interesting post. I committed a sin of omission on CMGI.

A BRK shareholder I know talked about this company last year. I mean he knew this company. He purchased shares late 97 and early 98. I never followed through. I should have had a clue. The guy is a decimillionaire four times over and a genius with common sense. He is not the type to ever hype a stock.

Since that time I have watched him and a few others make 15 -16 times their money with splits. I should have put 1% into it.

THIS IS NOT A RECOMMENDATION TO BUY THIS STOCK. I don't want anyone crying in their beer on this thread should something go wrong. It is just an interesting story.

BTW don't let Justa fool you. He is the biggest Yahoo you will ever meet. He is the equivalent of an internet mutual fund. HA!!!!!

APH: RE:< I am making lateral moves, like selling 1/2 of a 2-3-4 bagger and moving about half of those proceeds into some new names >

If your lateral moves are into similar high flyers (instead of the VANGUARD GNMA Fund), aren't you setting yourself up a BIG LOSS if and when we get the 10%-15% correction Brinker has recently hinted we are in store for ?

I agree with Justa's viewpoint - pick the high flying prospects now and plunge in during the depths of a correction like we had last fall.

Good luck and remember us all in your will (in case you take up residence in "The Land of Monopoly Money").

P :-)
