If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck...

Right now the SPX is down over 3.5% from its local maximum. About 1218 would be a full 5% retreat, at which point many major funds sell triggers kick in. If it just stays at thislevel through close, it will be below its 26 day moving average. The last two times that happened was July 22 and Sept 30, if anyone wants a sobering look at their charts...

My only long is GMGC

DELL - I had a buy limit at $100 that I place last wednesday that was finally executed this morning. I didn't expect it to be fill since DELL started its earning play momentum quite early but lucky to have another chance..I hope I didn't jump in early though since the correction might continue till early next week. the only reason I'm in is because of earning play next week and will sell it before the earning.. I'm crossing my finger to hit atleast $115 by that time.

AL - yes I agree esp. if u compare CPQ's return vs. DELLs this past 12 mos.. but as usual I do look for other bargain stocks that is uptrending even though the gain is nominal.. thanx anyway..

just me..
