Larry, Your lack of financial education is showing. The quarter closed about 3 business days before the earnings warning press release was given. Unless NN has the world's most efficient accounting process (which I strongly doubt), they just don't have the final numbers at this point in time. Nor would any other company of NN's size or larger be able to give a precise GM number. The responsible way to communicate is precisely what Alan Lutz did last night. Advise that he didn't know, advise why he didn't know and advise when he will know and divulge the info. I'm delighted to have AL and KW handling NN's financial communication rather than you. To say the very least. :-)

Let do the calculation: a)ravenue 450 b)expences 193,down in single number(ref.cc)from 199 c)tax on results from operations 30% d)overall tax for this Q will be higher due to gains(affiliates) e)currency 1.51 flat margins 58.5%!!! 450x0.585=263.25-193=70.5(income before tax) 70.5x0.7=49.2 after tax 49.2/180 sheres=0.27Can/1.51=0.18US!!! as they stated in press releases Still gains from affiliates may only lower overall eps.
