MM,

Agreed, I think carriers are and should continue to be a good percentage of any networkers revenue that has a long term play. I think ASND/LU, NT, NN, and CSCO have shown a propensity to succeed in pentrating the carriers. (The NN miss is already old news BTW. Did they miss due to enterprise softness??? I didn't hear...and to be honest haven't been watching that very closely.)

Now, if you believe that LU/ASND will win the lions share of carrier business going forward that is your opinion - to which you are entitled. But make no mistake, CSCO is a lot more than a router company and it's my belief that LU/ASND and CSCO will both win a significant percentage of buisiness in this space. Announcements last week and forthcoming I think have/will demonstrate why I feel this way. It is very fortunate for you that the executives at LU/ASND don't have the same disdain for CSCO's ability to move on thier traditional markets...they treat CSCO as a formidable competitor - as they should. BTW... as a point of interest the communications market isn't moving to routers - it's moving to IP. We can talk more on this on Monday evening if you would like....

Good luck with your positions..... Looks like the market is taking a breather here.

Mighty,

I feel your pain. However, give yourself a break, wait until LU hits bottom and load up! Lu might hit 90 in this tech selloff! If it does, I will jump on the ASND bandwagon and cheer as loud as you.

Go ASND,
