Sounds like you already have a lot to gain if APM rises again. APM and SEG seem to be the only disk drive sector stocks up right now. Others are trending down from the recent rally. If APM is prices their product aggressively to regain revenue stream, profitability may remain elusive. Then again even seeing light at the end of the tunnel has been known to do more for this depressed stock price than the actual achievement of profits. I think APM could begin to look more attractive than it has been, but I would not bet the farm on it.

<average down here> be thankful you're not so bold, imo.
I think the MR news is factored into price, there will be, or already is, an extra 16M shares since you bought. I think it has been luck to hold to the $4-5 range and will be here through the next big market break. So maybe you can set aside a few dollars to pick up some when it hits $2 in the next year. And trade that batch like you never saw the stock before.

Here's a chart to take a look at relative to short interest. It's one of those Java applet things so I can't post an address for the completed chart.
Go here; bigcharts.com
~click "Go to interactive charting" at the bottom
~click "Indicators" on the right frame
~On right frame in drop down box for "lower indicators" enter
"% Short Interest"(hint you might have to hit the right frame scroll bar to see it)
~click "draw chart" at the top of right frame(hint you might have to hit the right frame scroll bar to see it)
Whew
Here's the question why has short interest declined so dramatically?
What does it mean?
