Hi Victor,

Thought you might be interested, all local (UAE) government departments, private and public schools have three days off as of today, (Monday), as a period of mourning for King Hussein.

So, this is a measure of the esteem he was held in.

Of course, us poor sods in the private sector get to go to work as usual.
