Hello Ann. No, I am not having a good day all things considered. gg. My techs are killing me or let's say they are killing my paper profits. But I will hang in there.

BBY. You should have bought it. I did say that it should do well and that I am giving them plenty of business. But right, I have not done retail lately. Look some more at Avon. Ann Taylor and HD are still touted and Cosco and Target. I can't think of the parent co. now.

Armageddon. Well, we want to be informed in case we have some money left at that time. We should be looking for a hiding place. Maybe in stocks? gg.

Y2K may be overblown but I will try not to be in the air or on an elevator the first cpl of days in Jan.2000. Never mind Armageddon, if that comes there will not be much we can do but I can do something about the first cpl of days in 2000. gg.

Yes, too bad about E-trade. Blew a cpl of holes in some of my online brokers. I have invested in them but have not used them yet. I heard this afternoon that NDB is one of the top 3 when it comes to trades and SCH one of the slower ones. Hm. And NDB looks cheaper but has only 1% of the online business. Maybe their business will pick up after one of those tracking firms gave it thumbs up. I happen to own that one for a cpl of days now. It had a nice ride up and I have watched it ride down again. gg. One of these days I trade those things more.

Sonny

That is really too bad about E-Trade having so many problems. I'm sure they will be loosing some clients over that one.

That does suck, but I'll stick with them as long as they print money for me by giving me IPOs like GCTY and MMPT. Too bad I sold GCTY in the 30s.
