Hi Mile,

of course noboby knows the bottom. Instead of trying to "catch the knife", I have made my own accessments where I THINK the bottom will be, but more important, where ever we base, I will wait until it has clearly risen from that point before stepping back in. I won't be a hero, but I may avoid a bloody nose.
