I purchased some ATHM today before the bell. It looks to me that these low prices won't last long, I truly can't believe the market has been this bad. I'm happy I finally had the opportunity to buy some ATHM! Looking forward to s strong rise! It will occur sooner or later.

PS. Take advantage of this cheap value, it won't last long!

Ahhaha,

One might spend a lifetime trying to decipher your posts and have no time left for investing. (No offense intended.)

The FAQ's to which I referred contain detailed information about cable, DSL, other alternatives, business fundamentals, market conditions, and such. None of it was written by the Fools, save a few references to their evaluations of ATHM.

I don't decide what I want to hear before I read about it. That makes the reading rather irrelevant.

Just as insiders can be blinded by knowledge, outsiders can be drowned by ignorance. You may have it all nailed down to perfection based on your understanding, but if the CEO falls off a polo horse or a janitor leaks stellar new results your deeply enlightened knowledge quickly is trumped by reality.

One really must be leery of any stock-specific message board. They are highly weighted toward the pep rally mentality (I think Ahahha would agree) and, thus, are not a reliable source of reasonably considered information. The FAQ's I referred to are not as biased as one might think and actually point out a large body of the counter argument.

BTW: I, and others, listen to the Fools because they have a proven track record of success. You haven't yet shown us cause to follow you, though I know there are many besides myself who are eager to know where you've put your money. My apologies if you have indeed offered this information in the past.
