As much as I'm not overwhelmed right now, I'm not sure it's entirely this teams (AMD) fault of their current situation. I think Intel has been acting really stupid and indiscriminate with the price cuts and it is hurting the entire industry. We saw a similar situation with DRAM a while back, but that was commodity driven, not by a single company.

I think they have to rebuild the entire playing field and then it's time to rumble again. Intel is generally a class act, but when it became obvious AMD was taking it to them, the resolved to a lousy strategy.
