philipah -

Last Aug/Sep/Oct I learned to look forward to Friday evenings and weekends like I had never looked forward to them before. We also had this 'ledge' phenomenon. That is to say you go down a chunk, then a little bounce so you don't get out then another chunk down and you don't want to get out and a sort of rest for a day on another little 'ledge' and so on. Sort of like getting slowly skinned alive!!!

This is beginning to look like it all over again.

No its not the end of the World but it is very aggravating seeing how a few short days ago the market was worried that the economy was slowing down and that corporate profits were going to be eroded and now it is clear that the economy is not slowing down and corporate earnings are going to be fine and INTC/CSCO/MSFT come out with knock 'em dead figures and with clearly much better to come and except in the case of CSCO a split and the stock prices of all three just tank!!!!

Yuck.........

Thank goodness it didn't go below $120 but as I say this remninds me oof last Aug and Monday morning will be here soon enough and then what? You need a lot of buying power and no selling by funds and institutions to get the prices rising again. Are we going to get that on Monday? Doesn't look like it to me.

Regards,

L
