It's called marketing ... every once in a while you will get emails from people who promote or "hype" a company as you call it. Even big companies may do something of the sort for promotional or marketing purposes, all companies do this and it's not something new. If you missed the audio conference on talk-stock.com Ralph Amato mentions that anybody who is already a shareholder of GRLZ will receive a weekend pass when the club opens.
