Yea right: "... only one other user has called in with the same problem."

I doubt that very much. In my experience, a crash during master analysis is probably memory related. I would up the allocated memory and see what happens. Sometimes, Hotline mangles the data files and this may also cause a crash. If you watch the analysis, see if the crash always occurs at the same stock. If so, you might remove it from the list and try again.

I spent a lot of time trying to track down the problem with Hotline. All I know is that it is the *only* program that crashes on my mac. Maybe with osX, Jeff will get the support to help track down the memory management issues.

Harry-
I checked and I give Hotline 6120K for preferred memory.

I wonder if some of my Hotline/OS 8.5.1 stability problems are related to some of the new FireWire stuff.

Here's a revision to one of my earlier ProTA custom indicators. I have replaced "Close" with High or Low, which is what I really intended.

I'll follow this up with another post with a few of my other indicators.

PricePeriod: 42

(Close - lowest(Low, PricePeriod))/(highest(High,PricePeriod) - lowest(Low,PricePeriod))
