To equate a launch failure (G*) with several on orbit failures (I*) as you do, gives a clear indication you cant deal with a discussion based on competent comparisons. You may classify G*'s use of Zenit as an 'error', but an understanding of the dynamics of the launch business leads others to an alternate position.

G* has made plenty of errors and guess what - they will continue to make errors. That is hardly the point.

Here's a point, clear and simple, in an effort to not be misinterpreted: A satellite phone system will require subscribers to make a profit for its shareholders. At any given time, un-quantifiable forces will act upon the ability of the shareholders to make a profit. A shareholder's best interest is to minimize the un-quantifiable.

I do that by informed, intelligent, and introspective discussion on these threads. Want to join in?
