"The camel's nose under the tent" - I think this expression comes from the idea that if there is a sandstorm, and you let the camel put its nose under the tent, it won't be long before the whole camel is INSIDE the tent. The moral is that it is better not to let the Camel get its nose under the tent because you know what will happen next...
