If one listened to the pair CC, at least this one (me) feels that there is no takeover in the works. If I had a $1 for everytime a takeover has been mentioned on this and yhoo thread, I would be a millionaire. The re are two problems with a takeover (1) Pair poison pill plan would require a price that pair would dictate, and i doubt they would take less than $25 unless business is absolutely terrible. and (2) no company in its right mind (except maybe an internet player with tons of free stock buying power) would pay 2.5 to 3 times the stocks market price !!!! I think pairs RFQ for SBC and someone else are soon to be settled. And this will bode well for the stock. I think some good news is due prior to march, but that's just a gut type of feel of mine. The stock will move sideways until some of the POTENTIAL good news that is out there with the avidia trials or the RFQ's is brought to light by pair. I hope i'm wrong and we see $30 by tuesday, but I don't think its going to happen. later hk
