I can't believe it, Here's a company that is on the brink of taking 50% of a 60 billion dollar dram market, who's stock is gettin treated like a stinky stray dog. Once the big manufacturers start shipping rambus in mass, every dram supplier will be jump'in on like there's a fire under their butts. Their not gonna stand by and watch a few big players grab all the bucks. That will entrench rambus as a global standard. And why not? Why use 3rd rate, slow, expensive dram like ddrate or sldram when you can get the high quality stuff for pennies on the dollar or cheaper? Come to think of it, they'll probably get 70% of the market. And it's not just the dram market either. They get a higher royality from logic chips and there's networking also. The logic chip market is substancial. Once the stock price stablizes, Who know what other companies they'll buy or how they'll diversify. They'll have enough capital to do anything. Momentum just has a way of carrying it's self farther. think about it: Months maybe weeks from deployment, 99% shoe in (compare that to last year this time (that was hell wasn't it?)) Huge potential market (whoops, i meant to say gigantic). Profitable, company is in the black and making money. Increasing margins/very low overhead. No meaningful competition. Support of all major players in the Processor and DRAM markets. Now the public likes internet stocks. Why ? because of the following; Everybody else likes internet stocks. Shinking margins and ever increasing competition ( any joe can get in, alls you need is warehouse and web page). Internet companies loose money. Have never made a profit. I think I'll hold my rambus for awhile.
