<<I feel compassion for all defendants and those who stand accused who happen to be innocent.>>

As do I. A close friend was arrested, lost his apartment building and spent two years in prison for cocaine dealing. He had rented to a pair of cocaine dealers who's rent was being paid by the county. There were never any drugs in his building, the rent was paid by the county because the dealers were getting public aid, but he was found guilty of profiting from the sale of cocaine because of the rent.
