Kenneth, to clarify a bit about coms' eps : coms still has two more qtrs to go for fiscal 1999, here are the actuals and estimates : next qtr 0.42 (estimate) this qtr 0.36 (estimate, to be released in March) last qtr 0.36 prev qtr 0.24 ----------------- total 99 1.38 with today price of 34.2 the p/e is 25 (half actual and half estimates) The estimates for next fiscal year 2000 (July 1999 - June 2000) is 1.99 for a p/e of 17 based on next year estimates. The p/e of 70 something you got must be based on trailing 4 qtrs for coms where coms made around 50 cents - due to inverntory and Asia problems coms only made 1 or 2 cents in couple qtrs. Mang
