Hi Gang,

Apparently there was communication problems between my house and MEO's office. I appreciate the effort. Rumors happen all the time...good and bad. What frustrated me was this market action was too fast. I asked MEO about this. They feel strongly a news leak didn't come from them and have asked the ASE to check into the trades that day. I appreciate that as well. I agree with those of you that held...it was crazy to sell unless the drilling was to stop as a result of the findings. That doesn't appear to be the case. Again not enough information on the kimberlites and 18 targets to be drilled by 3/15/99.

Concerning the Calling Lake area...Why did MEO sell 50% of their holdings in that area to another company in a JV for what looks like little money? If great chemistry and G10 garnets, why so little?

See ya'll in the Bahamas!!!

>>Jesse-It baffals me how stockwatch butchers news releases, the phone at the den has been quite busy because of this.<<

I hear ya. My question is whether the MEO news was submitted to Stockwatch with that relevant information included and was clipped, or what. -Not good either way. The pre-sell off yesterday still makes me wonder...

Nonetheless, the almighty AB diamond quest continues (by several Jrs, as you'd say)!

Have a Great weekend -
Watch out for those African Killer bees (showing up further and further north) on your search for their sweet nectar!
[BTW, simply havin' fun, no double meaning here]

That is why I quite often paste the MEO release verbatim when I get it. Even if the paster adds a comment at the top or bottom the meaning gets skewed. Mind you Thomas even admits that that was a badly worded release. JP
