Hi guys and gals- we just had a glowing report on CNN 10:30 PM tonight. With Brazil sofening ,Tellab's business in latin america is going to double in 1999,just like it has the last two years there. Plus John Vaughun our VP of internat. dev. said our business in Asia was a little more than steady. In short, the report infered that if a co. like Tellab's has a real good business plan and is dealing with strong customers, they can and do swim upstream against poor conditions in Brazil. The report mentioned that analysts are tempering some of their buy recs on Tellab's,just in case things in latin America don't go as planned. I will check to see if there has been any major faltering by these dudes, I'm not aware of any any major jumping ship.
Good Hunting

Just as I expected, the CNN reporter doesn't know what they are talking about. Our average rating by analysts went up an average of .2 to an average of 1.4, see enclosed data from Zacks tonight 2/5/99.
