nord:Why look at your Ball.? Surely that picture must manifest itself in terms of growth in rev/share & Operating Income/share. These ratios should all show a spectacular rise. A look at these figures for the aggregate LU,NTL,ASND,NN,CS,COMS,ALA over 3 yrs does not indicate that.

Should we be looking at something else.?

If the current NN problem in ATM is a shortage of manufacturing capacity, NN should start looking at using contract manufacturing services like Solectron. These services provide better flexibility and faster response as order rates change either up or down. It is even possible to reduce manufacturing costs. Contract manufacturers have such economy of scale that they can charge their customers less than in-house manufacturing cost yet still make a profit for themselves.
