That would be history repeating itself. Just go look at the Feb '97 chart to see what would happen.

First you mention: "I think Citrix's survival and success as a company depends mainly on what it does, not what MSFT does,...<<

Then you mention: "What will happen later this year if MSFT , well known for it's predatory behavior, withdraws support and issues a press release saying it's taking over the space?"

For me, your second thought explains why your first thought is not entirely correct. In my mind, Citrix's biggest potential fundamental threat is its partner, Microsoft.
