I just bought into MBTI a month ago, and since then the shares show a bit of a loss. That's ok; I'm thinking of getting a few more shares averaging down... I'm not looking at this one as a quick trade but as a longterm investment. Been watching the site and the news; it's getting more impressive. It seems to me that the farmers in the states with 4 seasons would be just starting to order what's needed for springtime now, as in new equipment/implements/animals for the coming year. On farms with winters things are pretty slow in the winter; most of the work done is repairing and maintenance. So I would think that the first quarter would be the biggest revenue one for MBTI; followed by the second quarter. If I'm right, the good news on earnings should start to come up in a couple of months; and that's when MBTI will start to pick up speed. Re: comparison to other portals - these thoughts come to mind... Specialized. Unique. Necessary. Convenient. Only Ball Game In Town. MBTI isn't just another computer equipment auction dotcom.
