Not only that, in the process of being "wasted", many Etrade customers simply belly-up, roll over, and take it. Can you imagine that? I don't get it. Why would any self-respecting E*trade customer feel obligated to go get a back-up broker? It simply defies all sense of reason and logic, IMO. Ice
