Barry,

There were actually 2 large block trades within 5 minutes of one and the other.

Plug in LSI for the symbol,
select the 5 minute chart, and
select volume at the bottom of the chart.

You should notice that the two transactions occurred at the low of the day and that there was a jump up on the second large block trade. I would guess somebody saw a bottom and wanted in real quick.

PS: I bought a little more today at 23 1/16 but not the 300k block<g>

Based on the price rebound later in the day, I think it was a buy. But it is hard to tell from the scanty information available. Block trades are made through the brokers, who may not release the data.
