I was looking at the preferred shares myself. My main concern was that they aren't very liquid (no one buys, no one sells). There aren't very many of them.

They seem to be trading in a range that reflects the dividend.

They are convertable into four common shares but I think it is at management's discretion if they want to stop paying dividends.

IE. I don't think you can just do it yourself.
