Mohan,

Agreed about CPQ, whose internet overtures came more as a reactive than as a proactive measure. I apologize to the spirit of DELL and will shortly go and wash my fingers for typing something as foul as comparing DELL with CPQ.

My problem is that it is still not clear to me where the money is to be made in the eCommerce business other than advertisements. I am of course drawing a parallel to traditional media like radio and TV, which may be an inaccurate comparison. But I pulled my investments out of YHOO, AOL and AMZN because of my lack of understanding where exactly their potential lay. As for DELL, I see great potential in server and storage business and expanding to yet untapped markets but have never given much thought to the eCommerce side of things. Need to think this over.
