Glenn, I am sure you can see this is simply the governments way of preparing for the day 2 years from now when they will start taxing internet revenues. Sorta like how they outlawed the draft, but it's still illegal not to "join" selective service. It's their way of saying "we reserve the right to change our policies at any time"

I've yet to hear a rational argument from anyone describing how governments will allow e-commerce to grow and grow to a larger percentage of total sales yet never compel the vendors to give uncle same a cut of the action.
