Berney; RE:" phone phleet phreaks "

>I'm up 15.2% for the year...

...you're beating the sox offa my BigEasy textbook standard:

techstocks.com

>It will be interesting to see, now that the Phone Phleet daily chart is almost at the bottom, if it behaves any differently. I could not be involved today (except by broker accident :-) as it did not satisfy my requirement that the sto be at the bottom. That's okay, as I'm convinced it will give me another chance.

...we'll follow the mode d'emploi until it no longer generates results. Probably the biggest difference between you & Paul and me, is that I spread out my entry over 4 LIMIT orders /1x /2x /3x /4x where 1x = 10% of trading kapital = "one position" (so it would take one heluva drop to hit all 4 and so employ 100% buying power). I have been exiting all at once, though.

I'm looking at the sector index on another screen...

...PNX.X 5-month UpTrend Line is no longer intact, Dude.

The 50d EMA near support is around ~475. Interestingly, should the H&S-like formation fail at 465~475 neckline, the textbook downside is near the 200d EMA area: this would be a -20% correction of the index, and is difficult to imagine in our economic climate without some kind of trigger-event as yet unknown; OTOH the 50d EMA area represents a -10% correction of the phone phleet index, more consistent with a trading range scenario.

>One of my friends, Paul, has moved from a visiting Lurker to paid Lurker of SI... I hope he feels confident enough to join the dudes shortly...

It's fun to trade together (^_^) that's how I met Bob, "Intel Trader" way back when - we were trading INTCW intra-day together. Jurgen and DJ said our postings to one another resembled the kind of clipped radio messages fighter pilots might have made during the Battle of Britain !

bon week-end, TraderBerney

Berney, thanx for the invite. I am still a super novice and don't understand most of what you guys say let alone what I say. Love the phone stuff, it has been very good to me over the last few weeks.

I have truly learned my lesson, hit and run only since I have the attention span of a cat and can't hang around for those multiday trades, let alone those leaps and bounds or what ever you call them. PEP is an exception though, I hope Monday resolves this issue to the positive - then its back to the phone again.

CU Paul

PS Go call someone, use the phone often and long, caress it when you are finished. BTW I understand you stopped the car, got out and went over and caressed a telephone booth the other day?
