Excerp from Barrons.... I think Tava has this solution?

Dennis Grabow, founder of Millennium Investment in Chicago, takes a more
holistic approach in his Y2K consulting and investment management, based
on the declaration of this self-appointed Paul Revere of the millennium that
Y2K is "the greatest wealth-transfer event of our time."

Fearing serious government, trade and infrastructure breakdowns, Grabow, a
former Morgan Stanley investment banker, runs a hedge fund that is net short,
betting against the shares of companies he thinks will be particularly hurt by
the changeover, but looking for potential winners as well. The industries he
views as having the biggest potential problems include the chemicals sector,
which features many niche producers (which may have a hard time bringing
their computers up to snuff), plus highly intertwined supply and production
chains.

Some bad news for all companies: Utilities, in Grabow's view, are generally
behind the curve, and he points out that power plants can't just be
"re-booted" with the flick of a switch.

He concedes that he may be an alarmist, but anyone who thinks that Grabow
is right, or close to it, might view those protective options as pretty attractive.
And if he's wrong, be comforted by the fact that it will mean the world won't
be plunged into darkness.
