When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Before I take my weekend trip, may I just say how disappointed, NAY, dismayed I was by the abject failure of this thread yesterday evening to rise to my challenge for some lateral thought. It is decidely un-American to whimper, like would-be welfare beneficiaries seeking a hand-out of free or cut-price AV shares. On Monday morning Wall Street will be awash with trillions of dollars. They will swirl and swarm like great pods of anchovies. Will you, yes you, lurker on this thread, like some timid turtle retract your neck, dive to the sea-bed and hope it will soon pass by. Or like a spoiled and overweight pet pig, fail to forage for truffles in the forest in order to skulk in the scullery for congealed baked beans on discarded TV-dinner trays. Oh fellow Americans (naturalised aliens,too,) rise this morn, this Monica Day, RESOLVE to eschew alliteration in your posts: determine to dominate doubts daringly during down days: dump the depressed dividends of your dowry: dare to dismiss doubtful dalliances with daffodilmania (couldn't get "tulipmania" to fit) DANCE delightfully down double-decker dachshounds.........(This is getting ridiculous. Could we move on to next post please). And now for something completely different......the robotic-voiced Italian ice-cream organ grinder GENE PICCOLI, singing his well-know refrain "CPQ HAS GUT DELL HAS BACON".
