Good report ,, and it has been happening a lot lately ,,

Any one with such a nightmarish mishap .. please save the original confirmation ,, from E Turd,,, and contact nasd.com for arbitration ,, do it ,, I won a major case against WHO 2 years ago , where they coughed up ,, all my losses ,,

Also , E Turd ,, you can simply sell the shares ,, with out shorting ,, and simply buy to cover,, this works especially well with fast moving stock or with stocks under 5,, but do make sure ,, to buy back eod ,,

From Yahoo on PQT (crazy board but once in a while good info):

You all have good points.
If I may clarify a few things for new comers on this board ..

True, www.pcquote.com/yahoo was there and I saw it two days ago.
The company took it off due to overwhelming phone calls on that page. We as a company design web pages for our clients and we do not create/keep a page with a kind of title "yahoo" for no reason. In other words, you do not create a page like that just for a fun as it will create unnecessary rumors and the company may be liable for having misled the public.

Someone on the board yesterday called the IR (investor relations) personnel and when asked about possible merger deal with "YAHOO", the answer was "I can't comment on it". If in fact there was nothing going on, they could/should have said "NO" to stop the rumors I am sure that they have heard enough. But they did not simple say "NO".

Having listened to the speech of CEO, I am assured that the company is heading for the right direction with clear vision. If nothing happens next week, I feel confident that some sort of merger or buyout is definetely possible.

They provide market data to institutions (like scottrade.com), financial web-sites (like stockplayer.com), daytraders, and individual investores (like you and I). If I start making some money, I would love to take advantage of their services to make more money. It is only $150/month if you make some money.

About rumors ... People,
let's call IR until we get the answers.
Let's find out why they created a www.pcquote.com/yahoo page.

And post your feedback there for others.
Again, you do not simply create a page like that and take it off.
But then I should give a credit to those who discovered that page. Probably PQT didn't think that anyone would found out.

Ck this interview out:

Thx NewKit - that happened with a few other brokerages, too - i won a case with Waterhose - but it took so long (over a day and until 11 am on the Monday) that if I knew I had the shares I could have sold at 9:30 am and made 2 1/2 pts and a reasonable amount of dough. I ended up losing just under $500 on the whole thing since I bot more that day and eventually the co didn't go for as much as was "supposed to" .

Fight the good fight!

I'm with E*Trade and of course concerned with what's been going on with them. What's a better broker to switch to????
