It will begin to happen about 18 months from now but not before gold hits new lows in the $195-$235 range. It is going to get nasty soon but it will create one of the best investment opportunities in history. If you have to own a gold stock at the moment you are sure in the right place. Kinross has the best management in the business and when gold starts its run sometime next year this stock will be on its way to $50+. This might sound crazy but the leverage on stocks like this is incredible...anything above the cost of production is all profit. Other stocks to look at over the next year are FCX (NYSE), TVX and some of the South African miners like AU and DROOY. I think that you will be able to pick Kinross up for about half of the current price sometime in the next year. Take a look at some of the mid-tier oil drillers first, they will probably bottom in July (FLC,PGO,ATW,RIG etc).
