Actually Karl, I expect Tim Hall to be nominated for 1999 Man of the Year for the Coalition of Arizona/New Mexico Counties for Stable Economic Growth (VBG). Why? Because of the MG Marble quarry operations and what it will do for La Paz county!! Yes its true. One of the goals of the Coalition is to promote the use of natural resources to improve the economies of rural counties. As the Mining Director of the Coalition Mr. Hall is responsible for “promoting” mining in the eight Arizona rural counties. Well it so happens that La Paz county is one of the eight counties in the Coalition. Isn't MG lucky! MG is now operating its marble quarry operation in La Paz county We would hope that the Coalition would be encouraging private enterprise, such as MG, to explore and research the natural resources in the counties which are members. We would hope that the Director of Mining of the Coalition would act in the best interests of the counties which are members of the Coalition. I might add that La Paz county is one of the poorest Arizona counties and that MG's entrepreneurial mining efforts are and will be extremely important to that little county. The hypocrisy of this situation is that the people of these counties of the State of Arizona have sought the help of the Coalition under its nonprofit charter. Some cruel joke!!!
