Hey Barb, I have no clue whether positions were covered in whole or part.
He publishes targets but no updates on actual activity.

Why do you worry about other folks portfolio's?
It's not a matter of worry. I'm curious about A-man's recent hyperactivity
re. ABTE and am wondering if the rise in trendlines in so many of
his acknowledged short positions is forcing buyins that are contributing
to further increases in share prices.

I also question how profitable these positions are. You can be sure that
he and his clients have assumed short positions in advance of the published
announcement. It would make no sense to wait until the share price starts
declining. Many of these issues were in uptrends, some of them (TRBD?)
probably in short squeezes before the public short recommendation.

So, there is no margin required upfront? And you collect interest
on the proceeds of the short sale? I need more education. I'm sure
that my broker requires me to put up a % of collateral that gets
marked to the market and must be on deposit with them.

IMO, & at the risk of repetition, it seems ridiculous to try to hold
the company responsible for the irrational exuberance in last summer's
sharp rise into the teens. I guess we'll find out soon enough how
safe the "harbor" is?
