Razor, If you didn't understand my post, perhaps a more balanced approach to investing may be in your best interest. Diversify the risk!!! Morningstar had published a study (sorry, no link) revealing that significant profits can be made by bottom fishing in sectors that have severly underperformed the general market trends. Right now, candidates in that underperformance class could include Commodities (which as you are aware, include oil) Latin America and Asia. According to Morningstar's research, taking a position in a mutual fund in each of the three sectors and holding for three years would produce a handsome return if only one of the three bottom fish recovered.
