O.H. and Ken--

Sorry O.H. It just didn't do it for me. I'll put another log and the fire and knock back a couple. THAT should work.

Ken I understand the hearing scene. After the big dog speaks the little pooches start the barking chain. Anything more would require them to actually sit there, listen and evaluate. So much for relying on prepared statements and press releases to get a the truth in this issue.

On another topic...Last spring the code heads on csy2k voiced their opinion on the "voluntary corp" which they suspected would occur. (They knew the slippage that was taking place then and how the suits would react when deadlines weren't met.) It also got a pretty thorough discussion this past December when a statement came out of Koskinen's office alluding to indentifying "key people" in certain industries. Perhaps his office should do a Usenet search within csy2k using "programmer draft." It might give him cause to pause. The idea has not been well received. They may want to put an ear to the rail.
