HOEN could be a $30 stock--here is why:

I think that a stock that has such a limited downside (the lowest its been in 12 months is 6 1/8) and actual earnings as well as the potential, even if slim potential to enter the retail online business, is a great one to hold and just sit on for the possibility that they announce they are entering the online retail business (If you were on the board of this one and wanted to maximize shareholder value wouldn't the retail online business be a great place to look--as they watch SIEB and JBOH skyrocket they would HAVE to consider it) JBOH used to trade under $1 just months ago! This could be the last undiscovered play in the online brokerage stocks, one announcement and its a $30 stock with that kind of upside potential and such a limited downside, who wouldn't buy it and just hold it? Even a holding a large position of 10,000-20,000 shares would be a safe play at these levels because, again, what is the downside? 1 point? What is the upside? 50 points? THE RISK/REWARD here is as good as it gets because we are in on the ground floor. Buying this one even at $12 is like owning JBOH at $2 and thinking because it already doubled you got in too late

I AM SURE THAT THE INSIDERS OF THIS COMPANY ARE AWARE OF THE FACT THAT THEIR STOCK MOVED FROM $7-$15 IN A COUPLE OF DAYS, AND I AM SURE THAT THEY ARE AWARE OF WHAT TYPE OF SPECULATION CAUSED IT, AND I AM SURE THAT IT HAS THEM THINKING THAT WITH THE RIGHT ANNOUNCEMENT AND A FEW DOLLARS TO BACK UP EVEN A LAME RETAIL TRADING OPERATION THEY TOO COULD REAP THE HUGE REWARDS THAT JBOH AND SIEB HAVE RECENTLY. TRUST ME I AM SURE IT HAS THEM ALREADY COUNTING THEIR MONEY AND PLANNING SOMETHING SOON.

MOVEMENTS LIKE THAT DON'T GO UNNOTICED BY INSIDERS, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE STOCK IS OTHERWISE STAGNANT.

GO ON THE SIEB THREAD, I OWNED SIEB AT $7, out too soon at $15.
GO ON THE JBOH THREAD, I OWNED JBOH AT $3, out at $22.
GO ON THE PRFM THREAD, I OWNED PRFM AT $3, out at $10.

My next call is HOEN, I own HOEN at $7 1/4.

>Please do not even attempt to compare AOL to HOEN.<

Bean, I think I didn't present my idea clearly and make you think I am comparing HOEN with AOL. Of course not. What I am saying is that current institution holding for AOL outstanding shares is 76% and for HOEN is only 22%. But what was a year or two ago for AOL, what will be next year for HOEN? There are plenty of companies whose institution ownership changed like AOL in past year. I just think this will happen on HOEN this year, assuming that small players will not drive up HOEN price in a very short period of time. (If I am in now, I win either way.)
