The short answer is that Cisco made some off-handed comments about possible softening in the corporate channel, and Tech Data, a reseller, reported lower than expected revenue growth. To my knowledge, they did NOT attribute it to 3Com's products. 3Com just stated at their last CC that a majority of their revenue and profit growth is being driven by new products. It would appear that market insanity has temporarily blinded itself to that quite important fact delivered directly from the horse's mouth.
