Moose: hope you don't mind if I take a swing at that. Two i-net sources say 3/4/99. ...Tim

Moose,
Last year annual earnings were reported on March 4th or 5th so they must report on or before that date this year. 1st quarter ends March 31st so every company must report with in 45 days so they may have until April 15th for that.

MK analyst is going with 72 cents for 98. As you know IDC estimated 72 to 75 cents.

What I forgot was when it's year end companies are given an additional 30 days on top of the 45 for a total of 75 days.

What most investors an even brokers don't know about reporting dates is this. If a company reports say 10 day after the quarter ends instead of taking the 30 they are allowed the next year they must report with in ten days. This prevents a company from giving earnings right away when it's good and holding back when it's bad.

By Interdigital claiming it will be between 72 and 75 cents ,I think we can go with that. We have a good start in 1999 with 60 cents after taxes already so I think it was an execellent idea to take the recurring revenues they received and divert it to the last quarter of 1998.

We have a great start and I'm confident it will continue and this will be a record year for licensing and alliance as well as B-CDMA sales starting up .
