I'd like to make a nomination to a duo of Pump and Dumpers. In reality I am not sure they pumped and dumped but they did hype away at a very loud volume. The real problem is they were not good at it. The duo in question is Pugs and Riley G. They were very active in RMIL and Riley was the ringleader. The problem is it got halted and the story has stopped there pretty much except it did take them about 8 or nine months to realize it was never going to trade again. Between the two of them they made over twelvel thousand posts. Most to the various RMIL/OVIS threads. They went on to TVIS/AREE which is now about at a penny, they have stuck their noses in EUTO and various others that may or may not be real. It is even a matter of discussion that they under new alias(es) (you see both feel that the management of SI is biased on the side of shortsellers and they have both been permanently banned from this forum) are the leaders of the pack when it comes to AMZN which may not be a scam but it has a whole bunch of question marks.

An example of their investment accumen is that Pugs when describing a potential $5 million newe investment in RMIL insisted that this would result in $1/share EPS because they had 5 million shares outstanding and $1/share in new investment equaled $1/share of EPS. Now for Riley he insisted that a Cavalry existed that would come in and buy shares when the marketmakers started playing games just to keep them homest. Problem is none of these Cavalry memebers ever seemed to exist.

In any event the RMIL saga is one of the more famous in SI's short history and it is only appropriate that these guys fit into one of the categories.
