WindowsNT server 4.0 is on service pack 3 or 4 to date, Oracle is on release 8, and the product is in the field. When a company has a problem with the software they call Oracle open what is known as a TAR (Technical Assistance Requests ). If the problem is business critical (Business is losing money) Oracle works the problem 24/7/365 until the problem is resolved. If the problem can't get resolved in the first 12 (US) hours, its passed off to the other side of the world (Sydney)for the next 12 hours, if it still has not been fixed, it gets passed back to this side of the globe, and it contuines to bounce back and forth until it gets resolved.

Windows 98 did NOT fix Windows 95. In fact, first time I installed 98 is totally GUTTED my system. Microsoft makes inferior garbage..but we're stuck with it...
