My assumption is flowing from my assumptions that all three are utilizing EDIG for these reasons..1.Fast time to design/prototype (because a smaller company preforms faster usually, and EDIG has a lead over some of the competition) 2.EDIG's rates were probably reasonable and it would be easier to use them than start a new division 3.the Patents might confer protection of the eventual products 4.Perhaps they are the best there is in this field.
