No, not a member of any party. Clean the lot of them out, it wouldn't matter to me.

I have my facts on this issue in greater detail than you could ever imagine. I do have a pro-Loral bias, but that is what made me investigate in the first place. I am sure you have done very little in the way of "checking the facts." Your initial mention of LOR/Red China shows that.

I will repeat:LOR is NOT in the rocket business. They do not manufacture, handle, sell, or launch rockets. They place satellites atop rockets that their customers choose. The rockets are handled by other companies. They also sell time on their own fleet of satellites to broadcast companies. They also invest in fledgling enterprises such as CD Radio. If you think so poorly of LOR in their dealings with China, perhaps you should not soil your hands investing in CD Radio since Loral owns 15% and is financing a chunk of their economic needs.

M. Frank Greiffenstein:

First off, I am usually impressed with people who use their own names when they post. (I assume you would not use this as a pen name, it is quite the handful to type!)

Secondly, Loral is only in the rocket business from the standpoint that typically customers who purchase Loral satellites will also, as part of the deal, make Loral responsible for lining up the launch provider. Many times the customer will have a stated preference wrt launch providers be it costs, orbits or yes even political considerations.
