From Friday's Wall street week: 2/5/99 evening: John Kim, President & Chief Investment Officer, Aeltus Investment Management, Inc. : ì [The recent slide] is an aberration. I like tech stocks a lot right now. We call this chip price war between Intel and AMD a war, but really its between Intel, a 210 billion dollar capitalized company (total worth of outstanding shares of the stock) versus AMD, a 2.5 billion dollar cap stock..Itís like me going one on one in basketball against Michael JordanÖIntel is off @14 points off its high last week and itís going to win the war. Intel enjoys a hiccup or two every year. So this is a good buying opportunity for Intel [INTC] in my perspective.
