You've got it, Michael O. Keep your eyes on T & TWX. T purchasing TCI (which controls ATHM). ATHM and TWX (Roadrunner), along with a couple of other cable people, are pushing broadband. The cable broadband effort is, in turn, driving the RBOCs to get the telephone version of broadband, xDSL, into gear. (AOL teaming up with BEL, for example.) Now about 500k broadband customers nationally, but rollout increasing speed. This is the only practicable means of enabling Internet broadcasting/narrowcasting. Big penetration still a few years off, so be patient... BAM
