The national post carried an article this weekend that says
Companies can apply to the exchange to have the "f" designation removed from their trading symbol. They use RIM as an example
which trades under the Nas symbol RMM.

Steelguy, take a look at National Post , page C1 on Feb. 6, article on "foreign ticker fallout. The rules have already changed, let's hope BII officials are on top of it.
