kas1,

I agree completely. I subscribe to OTC Insight, a momentum stock picking newsletter that, according to Hulbert, has had the best ten year record of all the letters followed. In 9/96, Jim Collins recommended Dell, and like an idiot, I talked myself out of investing in that company because I figured that this was an established company that couldn't possibly sustain the sort of revenue growth that would justify investment at that time. Now, 1645% growth later, I have learned that the great companies making a great product in this arena will do well in the future, because computers and the internet are not going away. NTAP growth will be exponential.

kasl, I can't justify AMZN either. I learned my lesson well and
only invest in companies I am pleased with and know their products
or at least know someone reputable who has used them. As far as AMZN,
I have never had any success with them. Every time I order a book,
it is either back ordered 4 weeks or not available. I run over to
the Barnes and Noble book site and they have every book I want a few
bucks cheaper, even out of print ones! In addition, I can go to my local store to pick it up and not pay shipping! So the anal-ysts have
their heads up their butts on that one.

In my experience, NTAP does not make cheap equipment. You are talking a 50K investment , well above their base quoted price for a manageable infrastructure even for your own little startup company. However, they have the BEST system in the business, both in feature, ease, and reliability. Wanna waste time and money? Then buy a K car, get a K car. Wanna do it right the first time and plan for the future? Buy a Mercedes, get a Mercedes.
